The GEL-SONOMA™ 6 running shoe is built for the outdoors. The GEL-SONOMA™ 6 G-TX running shoe is built for the outdoors. Inspired by the ASICS trail running family, these shoes are a versatile offering that's functional for trail running, light hiking and other outdoor adventures. We've also used fewer resources on the template's coloring in the interest of a more sustainable design approach.

The goal this season was to improve the fit of the upper, so we've implemented a new last design that provides a more secure midfoot and heel fit, as well as a wider toe box that allows for toe splay. Synthetic stitching on the overlays is designed to enhance durability while helping keep feet secure and reducing slippage.

Underfoot comfort is the result of a full-length AMPLIFOAM™ midsole and GEL™ cushioning technology unit that is positioned where runners need the most shock absorption. To increase the softness with each step, we have included an ORTHOLITE ™ insole that guarantees excellent comfort.

In addition, the multidirectional grip sole improves traction on a wide variety of surfaces.

All of these comfort elements are complemented by durability properties, like the solid rubber sole that makes these shoes a versatile choice for trail riding.
